Our rides will take you on the Blue Ridge Parkway, a road with 465 miles of mountain crests with unbelievable views, waterfalls, and hiking trails.. You can ride the Tail of the Dragon with it’s 318 curves in 11 miles. What a thrill, that is! Or, ride through some of the curviest sections of the Pisgah National Forest with the mountainside rising above you on one side, and the river bubbling on the rocks below you on the other. And of course there is Hot Springs, a fantastic ride from Maggie Valley culminating in wonderfully relaxing hot tubs fed by naturally hot spring water. You can ride though the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on the northern end to Cade’s Cove with it’s old homesteads, bear, deer, and hiking trails. Or, take the road to Cataloochee Valley, with more old homesteads and the new home of the elk population of North Carolina along with more bear, deer, wild turkeys, and of course, many more hiking trails. One caution: part of the road to Cataloochee Valley is hard packed dirt so you definitely do NOT want to ride it after rain. Some of your rides will even take you to some gem mines where you can try your luck at finding star sapphires, rubies, and emerald along with lots of semiprecious stones.

Unless otherwise stated, our vacation packages are priced per person based on accommodations (links to your right) for 2 to 10 people. In addition to their lodging, each person will receive a T-shirt commemorating this trip, a rides map for 5 scenic rides, and 2 breakfast and 2 lunch/dinner coupons. Breakfast is either at the Holiday Cafe or Mountaineer Restaurant, and lunch/dinner is at the Mountaineer.

In addition, each package participant will receive a preferred customer card, good for free or discounted gifts or food along each ride. Some of the participants are “Tail of the Dragon”, along the Deal’s Gap ride, Jukebox Junction Restaurant along the Pisgah National Forest ride, Rockbottom Restaurant along the Hot Springs ride, Persnickity’s in Waynesville - the store that is our pin stop, and the Maggie Valley Club Restaurant, right in Maggie Valley for that special dinner in a white tablecloth type setting. All you need to do is stop in at these places, get your card punched, and bring it back to us. Hand in your card before you leave the area, and you will receive a discount at your lodging choice the next time you stay with us.
